As a Psychotherapist, my goal is to help you through this challenging time in your life.
- Mourning the death of a loved one

I am here to help you, to give your Loss the Attention it deserves today.
“Put down the weight of your aloneness and ease into the conversation” - David Whyte.
I understand it’s a lonely, painful place to be,
your world is shattered
because someone special or something special
is taken from your life.
As I listen deeply, I can help to empower you on your way to healing and restoring hope in your life again.
I encourage clients to view therapy as a journey we embark on together towards wellness.
“I will not rescue you, for you are not powerless.
I will not fix you, for you are not broken.
I will not heal you, for I see you in your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness, as you remember your light.”
- Sheree Bliss Tilsley
Testimonials
Margaret is currently supporting me through a difficult stage in my life. She listens to me and really hears my pain. She actively works with me to understand my problems. She tailors the therapy to suit my needs. I have been with Margaret before and I trust her, because as we find a way forward together, I will find my confidence to move on and live my life. She gives me back my life with more compassion for myself and hope. I recommend her as a therapist because my anxiety nearly destroyed my life and Margaret gave it back to me full of courage and joy and lots of ways to support it.

Working with Margaret saved my life. Losing my father was a life changing event and I found myself in the deepest level of grief, bordering the unthinkable. Margaret in her sensitive care and wisdom has helped me to live again while still feeling the pain of loss. She is a kind, gentle and very patient Psychotherapist and has taught me the tools to stay grounded. I am deeply grateful for her care and support.

I’m a newly qualified graduate who experienced failure in my 2nd year in College. This was a devastating experience for me. I lost my way. I was crippled and could neither move forward or backwards and had messed up my life big time. After Margaret’s help and support in therapy I am now in a better place. Fortunately, I have graduated and I am now back in the swing of life!!

My life was in a rut until a friend mentioned therapy to me. I met Margaret for Therapy. I had isolated myself socially as a result of not being able to cope with life’s challenges. It was through Margaret’s creative technique of “dog walking“ that my life transformed slowly. Through walking/talking therapy I found a new way of being and made new friends. My life is getting better and I find I have more courage.

I have been through a few difficult years after losing my two brothers who were both in their eighties to Covid19. I found the pain of loss very hard and with the Covid19 restrictions I was not able to meet any friends. I was lucky to join Margaret’s Bereavement Group. Then I realized I could do with more support and I took a few therapy sessions. Loss and grief is hard at any age and it’s a great relief to be able to talk about it and be heard by another and supported. Margaret really helped me to allow my sadness to be there while allowing room in my life for joy too.
